About the JGU3250NN

The JGU3250NN circuit breaker is a high-performance current limiting circuit breaker. This circuit breaker has been manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. It is a 3-pole breaker device and it comes with a current rating of 250 Amps. This circuit breaker can be used for both AC and DC circuits. It is best suited for single-phase AC circuits. To make it compatible with a DC circuit, 2 outside poles should be used. The JGU3250NN circuit breaker can trip for thermal-magnetic trips only. The front side of the circuit breaker is equipped with an on and off switch. The offside is green and the onside is red. The maximum operating temperature of the circuit breaker is 40 degrees Celsius. The breaker has an operational efficiency rating of 80% by using 150 kA of current at 480 Volts AC, 200 kA at 240 Volts AC, and 50 kA of current at 600 Volts AC. This breaker uses no terminations. It is a 3-phase device and it is a Series G Eaton circuit breaker.

The JGU3250NN circuit breaker comes with enhanced long-time and instantaneous functions. The breaker line side and load side have no bus bar (no lugs). The circuit breaker also has several safety and protection features. It mitigates the arc flash, and this keeps the operators of the circuit breaker safe. The breaker has been certified to meet several global standards including the IEC, CCC, UL, and the CSA standards. The circuit breaker uses internal communication to communicate with the operators. The JGU3250NN circuit breaker uses a unique trip platform which can help the operators to change the setpoint and test the circuit breaker, meter energy, and power information all at once. The breaker is easy to use. An extra push-to-trip button available on the breaker to manually check the tripping of the circuit breaker.
