Manufactured by Cutler-Hammer, the EGB3100FFG circuit breaker belongs to the Series G of molded case circuit breaker. Features EG-frame type as a complete breaker has fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip type. The Cutler-Hammer EGB3100FFG circuit breaker operates on 3-pole with 100 Amps, as well as 600Y/347 Volts AC, 25 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, or 18 kAIC at 480 Volts AC. The EGB3100FFG circuit breaker and the entire G series Moulded Case Circuit Breaker offers enhanced performance in a reduced space than the standard circuit breakers or similar fusible devices. The LG, EG, and JG frames are designed with the aim of saving space. Both RG and NG uses an established and proven Cutler-Hammer series C RD and ND designs, but for line and load conductors, they use metric threading.
The Cutler-Hammer EGB3100FFG Circuit Breakers and the entire Series G family are available in five frame sizes with ratings ranging between 15 and 2500 Amperes. The Series G provides a wide range of interrupting abilities up to 200kA at 480 Volts AC or 200kA at 240 Volts AC. This EGB3100FFG circuit breaker comes with a standard calibration of 40 Degree Celsius. The EGB3100FFG features the best contact designs of a circuit breaker, thus enhancing flexibility as well as outstanding performance features of the CCutler-Hammer circuit breaker. These Cutler-Hammer Circuit Breakers are run through a toggle-type handle which is mechanically trip-free to prevent any contacts against short circuit currents. The tripping happens due to overload or short circuits as indicated by the handle’s position. It is a remarkably quick and reliable contact action designed to improve safety.
