The Eaton EGB3030FFG is a molded case circuit breaker which belongs to Series G, and which operates on 15 to 2500 Amps for UL, IEC, and CSA applications. Manufactured by Eaton, these Series G molded case circuit breakers offer improved performance in remarkably less space than the comparable fusible devices or standard circuit breakers. The “G” in Series G stands for global applications. The Eaton EGB3030FFG circuit breakers and the entire range of Series G devices marked with KEMA, KEUR, CE, UL, CSA, and IEC listings. The EGB3030FFG circuit breaker features field-fit accessories with standard accessories rated through 630 Amps. The EGB3030FFG features electronic trip units ranging between 20 and 2500 Amps for a current.
Another advantage of this EGB3030FFG is the inbuilt ground fault protection rated at 20 Amps. Additionally, it is IEC-rated and UL-listed, with 30 mA ground fault/earth leakage modules. Frames like the LG, EG, and JG are designed with space-saving in mind. The NG frames work with proven designs from the Eaton Series C RD and ND frames for other circuit breakers. The Series G circuit breakers, including the EGB3030FFG circuit breaker, provides interrupting capacities of up to 200 kAIC at 480 Volts AC or 200 kAIC at 240 Volts AC. The EGB3030FFG and the entire range of the Series G molded case circuit breakers are also available in direct current options. It features a standard calibration temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. When the applications are in high ambient temperature conditions of about 50 degrees Celsius, then factory calibration is also available on the thermal-magnetic breakers, but not the UL-listed breakers.
