About the LT360033

The Eaton Cutler-Hammer LT360033 DigiTrip 310 Electronic Trip Unit is a digital trip unit for the Series G, Frame LG family of circuit breakers which offers true RMS current sensing capability for enhanced, effective, and accurate circuit protection. This trip unit, unlike conventional trip units or fusible devices, provides microprocessor-based current sensing, with a selectable long time delay (tLD) and pickup settings (Ir) that are adjustable through a front adjustable knob, and it is also designed to provide protection against ground faults. The LT360033 is AC-rated only, and it can be used with applications with 600 Volts AC maximum operating voltage. The LT360033 has a nominal current rating of 600 Amps, and a maximum interrupting capacity of 35 kAIC at 480 Volts AC.

The LT360033 is designed to operate accurately within an ambient temperature range of –20 to +85 degrees Celsius, and in the unlikely event that the operating temperature exceeds this range, the device comes with a built-in over temperature trip, which protects the internal components from overloading. The LT360033 has an adjustable switch setting with up to 9 current settings, and it features adjustable long and short time pickup settings, with delay times of 10 seconds and 100 milliseconds, respectively. It does not come with discriminator circuit, but it has an instantaneous override setting with the pre-set factory value below the nominal withstand value. It has ground fault pickup settings, and the settings range between 0 and 1200 Amps, and it has a delay time of up to 120 milliseconds. The LT360033 is designed to be used at a 100% rating at –20 to +85 degrees Celsius ambient temperature range, and it is also designed for use within a 0 to 95% non-condensing relative humidity range. It is UL, IEC, CA, and CE certified, and it weighs approximately 7.3 kilograms.
