About the HND312T52W

The HND312T52W is a 3-pole Type HND High-Interrupting Capacity Circuit Breaker manufactured by Eaton. It is rated at 1200 Amps, 600 Volts AC, 65 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, 65 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, and 100 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, and its dimensions are 6 inches x 9 inches x 16.5 inches. It features an OPTIM 550-trip model, an LSI trip type, and it is a member of the Series C, N Frame family of Cutler-Hammer brand of circuit breakers made by Eaton. The HND312T52W high-interrupting capacity circuit breaker features fixed thermal and magnetic trip units that greatly enhance the level of protection it provides against fault currents such as overload currents below its magnetic pickup level without any intentional delay.

An adjustable instantaneous trip, adjustable long delay pickup with an adjustable long delay time, and a short delay pickup with an adjustable short delay time are all available on the HND312T52W circuit breaker. Note that terminals do not come pre-installed in this breaker but the termination accessories can be easily adapted to its conductor poles to meet the users’ requirements during installation. The HND312T52W circuit breaker supports surface mounting and confined space mounting. It has a compact design that is optimized to meet space-saving requirements and its high-repulsion contacts greatly diminish the possibility of jamming when a fault occurs during operation. Shielded or unshielded cables and aluminum or copper conductors can be used in the installation of the HND312T52W circuit breaker, provided that they match its operating capacity. In addition, an electrical operator that acts as a solenoid can be adapted to its switching device to operate its control devices remotely.
