The Eaton Cutler-Hammer KD3400T56W Digital Programmable Electronic Circuit Breaker is a Series C, Frame K, Electronic Circuit Breaker with complete monitoring and diagnosing feature, used for over and short-circuit protection in a variety of low voltage distribution applications. This circuit features Enhanced RMS current sensing capabilities with adjustable long and short time pickups and also a self-diagnosing LED indicator module. It has a current rating of 400 Amps, with 35 KAIC current interrupting capacity, and it is built for applications with a 600 Volt AC maximum line operating voltage. It has a long delay time range of 2 seconds to 24 seconds, with a shorter timing of 100 milliseconds to 500 milliseconds, and it comes with a discriminator. It also has an instantaneous fault setting, with an override value set just below the nominal rating, and a delay pick up of 200 to 800% of plug rating. The KD3400T56W has an LED module with the ability to output cause of trip information via a test port, and it is capable of performing complete system monitoring (current, power, and energy, power factor, power quality inclusive). This device is designed with an easy to read, 4-digit alpha-numeric OPTIMizer, or BIM with LCD display, and it communicates via the Eaton Cutler-Hammer PowerNet kit.
