About the JT2200T

The JT2200T is a JT circuit breaker that belongs to the Series C of circuit breakers by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. This breaker operates with a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic mechanism that is able to act faster than regular breakers and to detect a different kind of abnormal current. The function of the Eaton Cutler-Hammer JT2200T JT circuit breaker is to perform a tripping action that will stop any kind of current flow. This tripping action is performed when the abnormal current has been detected, in order to preserve and protect the circuit and all its elements. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer JT2200T JT circuit breaker features two poles that are connected, these communicate with each other in order to perform a tripping action at the same time.

Unlike other kinds of protective mechanisms such as fuses, the Eaton Cutler-Hammer JT2200T JT circuit breaker is a multiple time device, it can be put back into operations immediately after having cleared and corrected the fault detected.
