About the JDC3070

The JDC3070 circuit breaker is a complete circuit breaker from Eaton. The breaker has a length, height, and width of 4.06 inches, 10 inches, and 4.13 inches, respectively. The JDC3070 circuit breaker has a weight of 8.35 pounds. The breaker’s interrupting capacity (IC) is rated at 200 k at 240 Volts AC, 100 kA at 480 Volts AC, and 35 kA at 600 Volts AC. When operating with a DC voltage, the breaker has an interrupting capacity rating of 22 kA at 250 Volts DC. For its operating voltage, the breaker supports both AC and DC voltages at 600 Volts AC and 250 Volts DC. Its current rating stands at 70 Amps while its frequency is rated at 50 to 60 Hertz.

The Eaton JDC3070 circuit breaker has a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip type and it has 3 poles. The JDC3070 circuit breaker has a J-frame. Circuit breakers with this frame type are HACR rated. While J-frame circuit breakers can be shipped in their individual constituent parts (terminals, trip unit, and frame) to be assembled in the field, factory-assembled breakers featuring non-interchangeable trip units are preferable for reverse feed use.
