About the JDB2225

The JDB2225 is a molded case circuit breaker from Eaton/Westinghouse. The breaker has its current rating capped at 225 Amps and its maximum voltage stands at 600 Volts AC. The JDB2225, like other circuit breakers from Eaton, is manufactured to meet major global standards in different regions. For example, it complies with the standards defined by the Japanese T-Mark Standards, the South African Bureau of Standards, and the Association of German Electrical Engineers has certified the JDB2225 for use in Germany. The Eaton JDB2225 molded case circuit breaker is meant to offer circuit protection in low voltage distribution systems. The tripping mechanism for the JDB2225 makes use of a fixed thermal fixed magnetic trip type. The JDB2225 has 2 poles. Additionally, the circuit breaker has an optional shunt trip, an optional undervoltage release, and an optional alarm switch.
