About the JD4250F

The Westinghouse JD4250F is a 4-pole circuit breaker frame. The frame is made of an insulating material, glass-polyester, which also guards the internal components of the breaker against environmental conditions such as moisture. The JD4250F has a rated current of 250 Amperes. The frame is rated to operate at a voltage of 600 Volts AC and at a frequency not exceeding 60 Hertz and not below 50 Hertz. Molded case circuit breakers using the JD4250F circuit breaker frame have an interrupting capacity of 65 Kilo Amperes Interrupt Capacity at 240 Volts AC, 35 Kilo Amperes Interrupt Capacity at 480 Volts AC, and 18 Kilo Amperes Interrupt Capacity at 600 Volts AC.

The Westinghouse JD4250F belongs in the category of circuit breakers with a J-frame within the C series family of molded case circuit breakers from Eaton Corporation.
