The Cutler-Hammer (Division of Eaton Corporation) GHB3090 is a Three-Pole Molded Case Circuit Breaker. This is a reliable solution for your installation protection, by offering the interrupting rating of 65 kAIC at 240 Volts AC and 14 kAIC at 480Y/277 Volts AC. The device is positioned in C segment of Eaton’s circuit breakers. The device has G-frame housing. The Eaton GHB3090 can conduct 90 Amps of current in the normal operating state (at 40 degrees Celsius).
On the front side of the GHB3090, the handle is positioned in one of three possible states - “ON”, “OFF”, or “TRIP”. The GHB3090 will transfer power to its output only when the handle is in the “ON” position. If an overcurrent or short-circuit is detected, over a thermal or magnetic trip type control, the device will act quickly and push the handle to “trip” position. In this way, current flow to your equipment is disrupted, and devices behind the MCCB are protected. The design of this MCCB is engineered for the perfect protection of equipment and people. On this model of MCCB, magnetic and thermal trips are not adjustable. The GHB3090 MCCB is packed in housing with dimensions of 4.00 x 3.8 x 6.6 inches (101.6 x 96.5 x 167.6 millimeters). It is advised to use this item in surroundings with air temperatures between -20 and 70 degrees Celsius (-4 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit). The GHB3090 is shipped with the weight of 1.75 pounds (0.79 kilograms). This item is CSA and UL listed.
