The GHB1035 is a single-pole Type GHB Thermal-Magnetic Circuit Breaker manufactured by Eaton. Its maximum rating is 277 Volts AC or 125 Volts DC, 35 Amps, at 50 to 60 Hertz, and a 14 kAIC interrupt rating. This Series C Frame G circuit breaker is ideal for providing short circuit and overload protection in different applications including panel boards, feeder pillars, individual enclosures, trunking tap-offs, and motor control centers. The GHB1035 circuit breaker features a bolt-on terminal on its line end and a screw-clamp type of terminal on the load side. It features a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip type. Its casing provides adequate insulation and it can withstand the demands of different industrial environments. It supports panel board mounting and it can also be mounted on a DIN rail. Mounting it vertically or horizontally does not affect its performance.
The quick “blow-open” action of the GHB1035 thermal-magnetic circuit breaker removes the risk of a jam during trip-out and aluminum or copper cables can be used to install the breaker, provided the cables match its rating. In addition, the simple design and the operation of the GHB1035 circuit breaker save installation time. Note that the GHB1035 breaker does not automatically reset itself after a trip-out. It requires manual resetting before the circuit can be closed again. To avoid nuisance tripping and arcing, it is essential to make sure the equipment or circuit that the GHB1035 circuit breaker protects does not exceed its rating. To verify this, simply compare the details on its nameplate with the ones available on the nameplate of the equipment.
