The GDB3015 is a thermal magnetic circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Cutler-Hammer GDB3015 circuit breaker is part of Series C of the Eaton Type GDB molded case circuit breakers. The Cutler-Hammer GDB3015 circuit breaker operates with 3 poles, 15 Amps of current rating, 14 kAIC of interrupting rating at 480 Volts AC, 480 Volts AC voltage, and it measures approximately 4.88 x 3 x 2.63 inches in dimensions. The Cutler-Hammer GDB3015 circuit breaker is contained in a Frame G Enclosure. The Cutler-Hammer GDB3015 circuit breaker is equipped with a ground fault warning indicator which is used with GFR relays together with the interlocking circuitry. At around 30 to 50% of the relay pickup setting, the circuit breaker indicator switch isolates 120 Volts AC control power to a lamp to show the ground fault indication.
To lock the door cutout opening when the relays have been semi-flush installed, the users are recommended to use a faceplate. The GFR relay will initiate the trip action of a disconnect component when the fault current has exceeded the pre-selected current pickup and the time delay settings by opening the faulted circuit and solving out the faults. A test panel-rated 120 Volts AC is designed to check on the ground fault system and to show the relay indication that has tripped the Cutler-Hammer GDB3015 circuit breaker and reset the GFR relay after the tripping. The Cutler-Hammer GDB3015 circuit breaker has an optional indicating ammeter that connects to the sensor terminals via a momentary contact pushbutton. The indicating ammeter indicates any ground fault current that is flowing through the sensor.
