The HFD3045 is a circuit breaker from Eaton that provides excellent circuit protection and offers many features. The HFD3045 circuit breaker will provide significant protection to machines and it is a reliable and efficient solution for professional and demanding applications. The HFD3045 circuit breaker has 3 poles and a molded case with a NEMA Type F frame. This model has 45 Amps of maximum continuous current at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius and 65 kAIC of interruption at 480 Volts AC. In addition, the HFD3045 Type HFD circuit breaker is part of Series C and it features a cable in/cable out functionality along with a fixed thermal-magnetic trip.

This circuit breaker has a non-interchangeable trip unit (N.I.T.U.) and it is built in accordance with standards such as the UL/CSA. Besides that, like most of the breakers from this series, the HFD3045 circuit breaker also features a load terminal only. The load terminal for the circuit breaker provides capabilities for connecting wires for special wire types and specific ranges of ratings that refer to a continuous current. The input voltage rating of the circuit breaker is 600 Volts AC and 250 Volts DC. This thermal magnetic circuit breaker also has an interrupting AC rating of 65000 V AL and a panel type of mount. The F-frame circuit breakers from Eaton are HACR-rated and they are suitable for high-intensity discharge (HID) and reverse feed usage.
