About the FDC3060

The FDC3060 Eaton Molded Case Circuit Breaker has 3 poles and a 60 Amps current rating. It has the F Frame type of frame and it comes with a thermal-magnetic trip. At 50 to 60 Hertz, the module’s voltages rating is usually 600 Volts AC. When operating at 40 degrees Celsius, the FDC3060 current rating is 30 Amps. It offers a high interrupting rating of 220 kiloamps at 240 Volts AC, 100 kiloamps at 480 Volts AC, 35 kiloamps at 600 Volts AC, 22 kiloamps at 250 Volts DC, and 100 kiloamps at 380, 415, 440 Volts AC. Moreover, the FDC3060 comes with standard pressure line and pressure load terminals. It measures 4.125 inches (width) x 3.375 inches (length) x 6.0 inches (height) and it is often used to provide optimal circuit protection in commercial, military, industrial, and mining as well as industrial applications.

If users need to protect devices against overloads or short circuits in different types of conductors, the FDC3060 Circuit Breaker is made to be applied in control panels, panelboards, busways, feeder pillars, motor control centers, and switchgears, in addition to combination starter units. The FDC3060 is panel-mounted and it features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip. Its high-tech design incorporates the latest technology, enabling it to provide the highest possible level of reliability, efficiency, and safety.  All Eaton circuit breakers go through a rigorous in-plant testing process, and that is why they deliver unmatched quality, performance, and dependability. Two comprehensive calibration tests are performed on each circuit breaker’s pole to verify the functions of the operating mechanism, accuracy, and continuity, as well as the trip mechanism. Because of its high repulsion contact structure and its use of high-tech design strategies, the FDC3060 molded case circuit breaker is current limiting. It is molded from glass-polyester, which means that it can prevent fungus growth. There is also a bolt-on connection feature and a non-interchangeable trip unit.
