About the FDB4015

The FDB4015 is a 4-pole Type FDB Thermal Magnetic Cutler-Hammer Circuit Breaker manufactured by Eaton. This Series C circuit breaker has a rating of 600 Volts AC or 250 Volts DC maximum operating voltage, a 15 Amps trip rating, 10 Amps of maximum continuous current at 40 degrees Celsius, 14 kAIC of interrupting capacity at 347 Volts AC and 600 Volts AC. It features a molded case enclosure built from the finest glass-polyester material to provide insulation/protection for the breaker’s components. The FDB4015 circuit breaker offers branch and main circuit protection and overload protection for industrial equipment, including motors and motor control centers, among other things. It features the best contact design with a rapid low-open feature that significantly reduces the possibility of the breaker remaining closed when faults that warrant a trip-out occur.

Non-interchangeable thermal-magnetic type trip units come pre-installed in the FDB4015 circuit breaker. When used within its manufacturer’s specified rating, the FDB4015 circuit breaker remains functional for several years without the need for maintenance or replacement, and it offers a simple mode of operation via its toggle type switch handle that also indicates when it is on or off. The FDB4015 circuit breaker must be manually reset and reclosed after it trips. Its flexibility of use and its compact design allow for easy integration into new and existing circuit protection systems and for simultaneously meeting space-saving requirements. For the best performance, this circuit breaker must not be exposed to environments where corrosive gases are present as this might result in damage or malfunctioning.
