About the FDB3030

The FDB3030 is a Series C molded case circuit breaker that is manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The circuit breaker has 3 poles and 30 Amps of trip current. The F frame molded case circuit breaker has the following physical dimensions: 4.125 inches width, 6 inches height, and 3.375 inches depth. The shipping weight of the FDB3030 circuit breaker is about 4.5 pounds. The molded case circuit breakers are engineered with the highest quality material to control excessive current flow or short circuits in industrial setups or houses in order to prevent damage to the electrical equipment.

In order to provide the highest quality performance, the FDB3030 conforms to numerous international standards such as the British Standard institution BS 4752, the International Electrotechnical commission recommendations IEC 157-1, the South African Bureau of standards, the SABS 156, and the UL 489 (for molded case circuit breakers and circuit breakers enclosures, including marine circuit breakers under File E7819). According to the UL 489 international organization standards, the FDB3030 has a capacity for an interrupting capacity of 18,000 kAIC for 240 Volts AC at 50/60 Hertz frequency, 14,000 kAIC interrupting at 480 Volts AC (50/60 Hertz frequency), and 14,000 kAIC at 600 Volts AC (at 50/60 Hertz frequency). The DC interrupting capacity of the FDB3030 is 10,000 kAIC at 250 Volts DC. The constant time measured for these capacities is 3 milliseconds minimum at 10 kA and 8 milliseconds minimum at 2 kA.
