About the FD3100K

The FD3100K Eaton F Frame Molded Case Switch is 3-poled and it comes with several useful features. It is available for systems that run on 600 Volts AC or 250 Volts DC with current ratings of up to 2500 Amps. Being part of Series C of the Eaton case switches, the FD3100K offers superior quality and excellent motor control. This high-speed circuit breaker has a 100 Amps current rating and it measures 4.9 inches (height) x 5 inches (width) x 7.5 inches (length). It provides a high interrupting capacity of 25 kiloamps at 480 Volts AC, 10 kiloamps at 250 Volts DC, and 65 kiloamps at 240 Volts AC. With a fixed thermal-magnetic trip, a “blow-open” action feature as well as cable-in or cable-out options, the FD3100K meets most industrial application demands. In addition to delivering excellent performance and optimal reliability, the module all meets all the standards listed in the IEEE.

This Eaton circuit breaker is HACR-rated and it is suitable for use in high-intensity discharge (HID) applications. If users want a quality molded case switch that is convenient for reverse feed use, Eaton’s FD3100K is a good option.
