The FD1110 is a 1-Pole Series-C, Type FD Thermal-Magnetic Cutler-Hammer Circuit Breaker manufactured by Allen-Bradley. Its rated maximum operating voltage is 277 Volts AC, at a frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz. It can also operate at 125 Volts DC with 110 trip Amps of continuous current for both kinds of current and it has an F frame size. This circuit breaker features non-interchangeable trip units and its dimensions are 1.38 x 6.00 x 3.38 inches. The FD1110 thermal-magnetic circuit breaker incorporates high-performance protective capabilities that make it ideal for providing overload production, main and branch circuit protection, short circuit protection, and overcurrent protection for a wide variety of industrial equipment such as electrical conductors, motor starters, and motors for different applications in different environments.
Like all Type FD Cutler-Hammer circuit breakers, the FD1110 thermal-magnetic circuit breaker comes with terminals on the load end only. It is compatible with many internal and external accessories to increase application flexibility and its glass-polyester enclosure provides top-notch insulation and prevents moisture, fungus growth, dust, and other impurities from affecting its performance. The FD1110 offers 35 kAIC of interrupting capacity at 277 Volts AC. This circuit breaker features a toggle-type switching mechanism designed to ensure that the breaker contacts do not remain closed or get jammed in the event of short circuit currents. The toggle switch position indicates the on, off, and tripped states of the circuit breaker. High repulsion contacts are built into the FD1110 circuit breaker and it also features arc extinguishing technology that improves equipment and conductor overall safety. To increase safety, the FD1110 circuit breaker does not reclose the circuit automatically after tripping.
