The FD1030 circuit breaker is engineered by the Cutler Hammer division of the Eaton Corporation and it is classified under the C Series. The unit features the F-frame size and it is an FD type of circuit breaker with a 50 to 60 Hertz frequency rating. The complete circuit breaker also features the load side terminals with a maximum voltage rating of 347 Volts AC and 125 Volts DC. The FD1030 comes rated as a 30 Amps module with a single-pole fixed thermal and a fixed magnetic trip type with the UL listing. The FD1030 comes with shipping dimensions of 3.38 x 1.38 x 1.38 inches and it weighs 1.65 pounds. The Eaton molded case circuit breakers come as compact switches for various applications that require high current switching abilities. The FD1030 is made of circuit breaker components and it comes as a high instantaneous automatic type.
Featuring the line and load terminal types, the circuit breakers come with a wire connecting capability for the specific ranges of continuous current ratings and the wire types. The FD1030 comes with a kilo ampere interrupting capacity (kAIC) of 5 kAIC and IT includes the terminal shield kit. For the F frame circuit breakers, the tripping characteristics remain virtually constant as long as they are applied at the frequencies ranging between 50 and 60 Hertz. In case of higher frequency applications, the molded case circuit breakers should be specially calibrated. This is in accordance with the frame size and also with the amperage rating. Note that the thermal magnetic molded case circuit breakers should only be utilized for the frequencies above 60 Hertz.
