The Eaton Cutler-Hammer EHD3080 is an EHD type molded case circuit breaker. It is a complete breaker with fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trips. It has 3 poles for accepting 3-phase voltages of up to 480 Volts AC or 250 Volts DC. This device can be used with 50 to 60 Hertz frequencies. This molded case circuit breaker will not have the same thermal or magnetic characteristics if it is used at higher frequencies. The EHD3080 belongs to Series C of Eaton Cutler-Hammer Corporation circuit breakers. The current rating of this item is 80 Amps. This current rating is calibrated at 40 degrees Celsius and it is ambiently compensated. When it operates in surroundings with higher temperatures, this rating is downgraded. When users install this MCCB in their system, it is important that it has the lowest possible voltage rating that their system requires. The breaking capacity of this MCCB is 14 kAIC at 480 Volts AC.
